Hi, my name is Luz Irizarry. I am a wife, a mama to two beautiful girls, and a woman continually being shaped by God’s grace. My faith is the foundation of my life, guiding how I love my family, steward my home, and walk through each season with intention. Motherhood has deepened my dependence on the Lord, teaching me daily about surrender, patience, and the beauty of trusting Him with what matters most.
I am currently pursuing my calling in ministry as I work toward becoming a music pastor through the Church of God. Worship is not just something I lead—it is how I live. I believe music is a powerful vessel for God’s presence, healing, and truth, and I am passionate about helping others encounter Him through authentic, Spirit-led worship. Ministry, for me, begins in obedience and flows from a heart fully yielded to the Holy Spirit.
Alongside ministry, I have a deep love for photography—a creative outlet that allows me to capture moments, stories, and God’s fingerprints in everyday life. Through this blog, I share faith-filled reflections, creative expressions, and pieces of my journey as a woman learning to balance family, calling, and creativity. My prayer is that this space encourages you to walk boldly in your God-given purpose, knowing that He is faithful in every season.
Women have always played a vital role in worship, leadership, and ministry throughout Scripture, and I believe God is still calling women to stand, serve, and lead with boldness and reverence. Worship ministry is not about a platform—it is about posture. It requires a heart that is submitted, discerning, and willing to steward both sound and silence for the glory of God. As women, we bring a unique depth of sensitivity, strength, and spiritual insight that the Church deeply needs.
My journey toward pastoral ministry has been one of obedience, stretching, and refinement. Answering God’s call has required faith in seasons of uncertainty, courage to step forward when the path felt unclear, and trust that He qualifies those He calls. Through training, prayer, and faithful service within the Church of God, I am learning that leadership in worship begins long before a microphone is ever held—it starts in the secret place with God.
I share my journey openly in hopes of encouraging other women who feel called but unsure of their next step. If God has placed a song, a word, or a burden for His people in your heart, it matters. My prayer is that this space reminds you that your calling is valid, your voice is needed, and your obedience can open doors for others. God is raising up women who worship in spirit and in truth—and I am honored to be walking this path alongside them.
